Many satellite space systems promise a breakthrough in space exploration and scientific experiments. Satellite
networks can create ambitious tasks, as well as create a distributed remote sensing system. For this, it is necessary to control the relative motion of the satellites. This article describes the algorithm of controlling the flight of satellite formations in near-Earth orbit using aerodynamic force. A simple model of aerodynamic force is proposed, which takes into account the lifting component of the force. This allows us to calculate the position of the satellite relative to the incoming stream. An acceptable control area is obtained for the given model parameters. A relative motion control is considered algorithm based on a linear-quadratic
controller. There is also proposed technique for determining the parameters of the algorithm.
