Abstract

The parameters of high-power wind turbines with straight blades are calculated. The formulas for calculating the rotational speeds and the power generated and the ways to increase the power of the turbines are given, and the values
of the generated electricity are calculated. The efficiency of such turbines is compared with existing megawatt-class wind turbines.
