Abstract

. Requirements for updating the education system of higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan, especially
pedagogical educational institutions are focused on professional training and competence, responsibility of modern students. The article deals with the problems of development and improvement of critical thinking of students studying in pedagogical specialties. The authors based on the analysis of psychological and pedagogical aspects of the concept of critical thinking reflect
the importance of critical thinking of students in the educational process of the University.
